Let's Get Loud (Jennifer Lopez song)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
"Let's Get Loud" is a song by American recording artist Jennifer Lopez from her debut album, On the 6 (1999). Written by Gloria Estefan and Kike Santander, and produced by Emilio Estefan, Jr. and Santander, the song was released in June 2000 as the album's fifth and final single. While the single did not chart on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, it did manage to reach number thirty-nine on the Hot Dance Club Play, and also saw moderate international success. The song earned Lopez her second consecutive nomination for the Grammy Award for Best Dance Recording in 2001 (the first being for "Waiting for Tonight" the previous year).
The song's music video was directed by Jeffrey Doe and filmed live at the 1999 FIFA Women's World Cup at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California.
The song was originally written by Gloria Estefan, and was recorded for her 1998 dance album "Gloria!", but she felt that it did not go with any of the songs she had recorded for the album, and decided that Lopez could put a new spin on it, creating a hit for her and Gloria.
