"Lettin' Go" is a 2006 single by American R&B singer Janelle Monáe, included on the Purple Ribbon All-Stars compilation album Got Purp? Vol 2, as well as the self-distributed 2003 CD The Audition. The song was released as Monáe's first digital single and it received considerable promotion throughout the Internet.[citation needed]
