Level measurement refers to instrumentation techniques designed to measure the height of a fluid or solid within a containing vessel.
Liquid/fluid measurement techniques
- Guided radar
- Hydrostatic pressure
- Differential pressure
- RF Transmission line methods

3D Level Scanner
The device employs an array of low frequency transducers to measure and map the entire surface area, and a patented algorithm that processes the information and generates a 3d dimensional map. The 3DLlevelScanner can measure the level, volume and mass of bulk solids in any type of container. The device was first introduced in 2007 by APM Automation Solutions, an Israeli manufacturer.
