Li Cairong (Chinese: 李彩容, 12 November 1885? – 9 May 2005) was a Chinese supercentenarian, claimed to be the oldest living person and the third-oldest person ever recorded, behind Jeanne Calment and Shigechiyo Izumi. At the time of her death, her family were reportedly seeking recognition of her age from the Guinness World Records. However, no proof of birth or other documents were ever sent, and the claim that "documents were being sent" was more than a year old. In any case, Li Cairong was the "faux doyenne" of China; in other words, she claimed to be China's oldest person. She is from Xi'an Village, Xiqiao Town, Nanhai District, Foshan City of Guangdong, China.
She attributed her long life to a regular diet and optimistic outlook. She died of natural causes, at the claimed age of 120.
