Liberty High School (LHS) is a four-year public high school in northern Colorado Springs, Colorado, and part of Academy School District 20. It opened in 1987 and in 2005, it had an enrollment of 1365.

The school motto is: Give me a place to stand and I will move the earth, attributed to Archimedes. The mascot of the school is the Lancer. The mission statement of Liberty is

LHS is a member of the College Board and the National Association of College Admission Counseling, and it accredited by the North Central Association of Secondary Schools.
Advanced courses available include college preparatory courses, and opportunities for Advanced Placement.

Liberty High School has a strong athletic program, especially the Men's Soccer team, which recently captured the state title and is recognized as one of the top teams in the country. In Liberty's first two football seasons (1987 and 1988) the Lancers had the poorest showing in the Colorado Springs area by scoring only 12 points against 94. Liberty's marching band has been making great improvements with the addition of a new band teacher. Genice Matzke helped the band to get the "most improved" award at CBA. The marching band is very strong.
Liberty also has a very strong theater program. "The Wiz" was a very popular show, which won an award for best set construction. This year (2008-2009) the plays are "Much Ado About Murder" and "Beauty and the Beast."
