Subclass PG: Slavic, Baltic and Albanian is a subclass in the Library of Congress classification system, under the more general heading Class P -- Language and Literature. This article describes the ranges of call numbers within subclass PG. In this classification system, the numerical part of a book's call number places it within the subject hierarchy described below; for example, the 1999 Slovo edition of Leo Tolstoy's Anna Karenina has the call number "PG 3365 .A6 1999", placing it in the category of "Tolstoi" (PG 3365-3417), in "1800-1870" (PG 3320-3447), in "Individual authors and works" (PG 3300-3493), in "Russian literature" (PG 2900-3698).
