Coordinates: 59°18′48″N 18°00′57″E / 59.31347°N 18.01584°E Liljeholmen was a so called borough (stadsdelsområde) in the southern part of Stockholm until 1 January 2007. It was primarily made up of Liljeholmen. The other districts that made up the borough were Aspudden, Gröndal, Midsommarkransen, Västberga and a portion of Hägersten. The population as of 2004 was 30,450 on an area of 6.83 km², giving it a density of 4,458/km². In 2007, Liljeholmen merged with the borough of Hägersten to form the Hägersten-Liljeholmen borough.
