List of reptiles of Great Britain

Six species of reptiles breed naturally in Great Britain: three snakes and three lizards. They are:
- Adder Vipera berus
- Grass Snake Natrix natrix
- Smooth Snake Coronella austriaca
- Slow-worm Anguis fragilis
- Common Lizard Zootoca vivipara
- Sand Lizard Lacerta agilis
Some marine chelonians have been recorded as coastal vagrants. These include:
- Leatherback Sea Turtle, Dermochelys coriacea
- Green Sea Turtle, Chelonia mydas
- Hawksbill, Eretmochelys imbricata
- Loggerhead Sea Turtle, Caretta caretta
- Kemp's Ridley, Lepidochelys kempii
In addition, the following species have either become naturalised or have bred at least once in the wild in the UK:
- European Pond Terrapin, Emys orbicularis
- Red-eared Terrapin, Trachemys scripta elegans — not established
- European green lizard, Lacerta viridis
- Common Wall Lizard, Podarcis muralis
- Aesculapian Snake, Elaphe longissima
- Dice Snake, Natrix tessellata
