Archdiocese of North America[edit]

This Archdiocese is directly under the responsibility of the Pope of Alexandria. It includes all churches in North America that are not under the jurisdiction of a diocese. There is an Exarch of the Throne and two General Bishops serving this Archdiocese, who are directly under the responsibility of the Pope of Alexandria:

  • Youhanna (John), General Bishop and Patriarchal Emissary at large.
  • Michael, Suffragan Bishop of the Holy Suffragan Diocese of Alexandria and all Virginia, USA; suffragan to the Archdiocese of North America, which is currently under Patriarchal jurisdiction.
  • Karas (Cyrrhus), Patriarchal Exarch in Cedar Grove, New Jersey for the Archdiocese of North America.
