The following is a list of the freeways and tollways in the Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas area:

Central Expressway, looking south towards downtown Dallas
  • US 75.svg U.S. Highway 75[9]; North Central Expressway; north-south urban freeway starting in downtown Dallas, passes through popular districts and high-income neighborhoods. The freeway is in a trench for 6 miles (10 km).
  • US 80.svg U.S. Highway 80[10]; freeway passing through Mesquite, begins near I-20 Terrell and ends at I-30 in east Dallas. Road formerly passed through Fort Worth, towards El Paso before being replaced by I-20.
  • US 175.svg U.S. Highway 175[11]; S. M. Wright Freeway (I-45 to SH 310); C. F. Hawn Freeway (E. of SH 310); freeway passing through sparsely populated southeast Dallas.
  • US 287.svg U.S. Highway 287[12]; freeway passing through southeast Fort Worth (as the Martin Luther King Jr. Freeway), southwest Arlington, and Mansfield.
  • Texas 114.svg State Highway 114[13]; John W. Carpenter Freeway; freeway passing through the Las Colinas business district in Irving.
  • Texas 121.svgToll Texas 121.svg State Highway 121[14]; Airport Freeway (Fort Worth, Hurst, Bedford, Euless); freeway passing through Grapevine and northeast Fort Worth. The tolled stretch of 121, which extends from Grapevine to US 75, is named the Sam Rayburn Tollway
  • Texas 161.svg State Highway 161[15]; freeway/tollway passing between Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport and Irving, will eventually connect to State Highway 190 on the north, with plans to extend south to Interstate 20. Part of the President George Bush Turnpike (see below).
  • Texas 170.svg State Highway 170[16]; Alliance Gateway Freeway; freeway running from Interstate 35W in northern Fort Worth, connecting with Highway 114 in Westlake.
  • Texas 183.svg State Highway 183[17]; Airport Freeway (Irving, Fort Worth)/ John W. Carpenter Freeway (Dallas)/ Southwest Blvd. (Fort Worth); freeway passing through Irving and the "Mid-Cities", a 3 miles (5 km) section of State Highway 183 in southwest Fort Worth is a freeway.
  • Texas 190.svg State Highway 190[18]; originally planned as the designation for a northern outer-loop freeway, but a tollway was built instead and State Highway 190 was retained as the designation of the frontage roads of the President George Bush Turnpike (see below).
  • Texas 310.svg State Highway 310[19]; "S. M. Wright Freeway (S to Loop 12)" (South Central Expressway) the remnants of the old Central Expressway, SH 310 runs from US 175 to I-45 near the interchange with I-20.
  • Texas 360.svg State Highway 360[20]; Angus G. Wynne Freeway / Watson Road; freeway passing relatively along the border of Arlington and Grand Prairie.
  • Texas Loop 12.svg Loop 12[21]; Walton Walker Boulevard (W); freeway passing through west Dallas and Irving, connecting to Spur 408 in the south, passes by Texas Stadium.
  • Texas Loop 288.png Loop 288[22]; (E) freeway passing through north Denton, connecting to I-35 on the north, freeway terminates at US 380/377 and continues as an expressway to I-35E. Together both sections bypass the central business district. Future plans call for an extensions west to US 380 before continuing south to I-35W.
  • Texas Spur 97.svg Spur 97 (toll)[23]; International Parkway; tollway passing through Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, connects to State Highway 114/121 and State Highway 183.
  • Texas Spur 280.svg Spur 280[24]; brief spur freeway connecting US 287 to downtown Fort Worth.
  • Texas Spur 366.svg Spur 366[25]; Woodall Rodgers Freeway; freeway passing along the northern boundary of downtown Dallas, connects I-35E to US 75/I-45 (technically, the north end of I-345). Eventual plans, as part of the Trinity River Corridor Project, call for extending this highway over the Trinity River and into west Dallas.
  • Texas Spur 408.svg Spur 408[26]; Patriot Parkway; freeway passing through semi-rural southwest Dallas, connecting to Loop 12 on the north, terminates at I-20 in the south.
  • Texas Spur 482.svg Spur 482[27]; Storey Lane; spur freeway connecting SH 183/114 to Loop 12 (Northwest Highway), passes by former site of Texas Stadium.
  • Dallas North Tollway.svg Dallas North Tollway (toll)[28]; tollway extending northward out of downtown Dallas and passing along and through the wealthiest neighborhoods and shopping/dining areas in Dallas, passing through Plano, and into Frisco. Its free frontage roads (which don't exist south of I-635) are known as Dallas Parkway. The Tollway currently extends to the northern edge of Frisco, terminating at U.S. Highway 380, and is under construction to extend it farther north.
  • President George Bush Turnpike (toll)[29]; tollway named for George H. W. Bush; passes through northern Dallas suburbs, currently terminating at State Highway 161 in Irving in the west and Garland in the east. In between, it forms the boundary between Plano to the north and Dallas and Richardson to the south. The Turnpike will eventually connect to I-30 in the east, forming a northern loop around Dallas. The Turnpike's free frontage roads are signed as State Highway 190.
