The following table is a list of European universities ordered by size of endowment. Values are listed in Euro millions. Please note that with the exception of Oxford and Cambridge universities, the figures below show the annual operating budget for the universities, not their endowments.

The University of Cambridge has the largest university endowment in Europe and in the UK.
The University of Copenhagen has the largest university endowment in Denmark.
Utrecht University has the largest university endowment in the Netherlands.

The University of Vienna has the largest university endowment in Austria.
