This is a list of the governors of Wyoming, beginning with Territorial Governors. Wyoming Territory was organized in 1868, and the state was admitted to the union on July 10, 1890.

As of January 2011[update], three former governors are alive. The most recent governor to die was Clifford P. Hansen (1963–1967), on October 20, 2009. The most recently-serving governor to die was Edgar J. Herschler (1975–1987), on February 5, 1990.
