This is a list of notable professional and semi-professional paintball leagues.

North American leagues

• National Collegiate Paintball Association (NCPA) - Nationwide association that sanctions college and high school competition.

U.S. regional leagues

• CFPS - (Central Florida Paintball Series), Largest Paintball League in Florida featuring the 5-man format. The CFPS was founded early in 2009 and hosts 7 paintball tournaments each year. Players compete in CFPS events to rank nationally in the official PSP rankings. The CFPS is also known as the Race to World Cup.

• New England Paintball League (NEPL) - The New England Paintball League is a regional paintball league in New England. They host 5-6 events a year and have tournament play for all tournament players including 3 Man, 5 Man, Xball, and 7 Man. The league is based out of Maynard Paintball Club which is also apart of Boston Indoor Paintball. By Mike Friedman
• NorthEast Paintball Series (NEPS) - Regional league serving the New England area. 5-man Division 4/Novice & Division 5/Rookie level play
• Ontario Youth Paintball League - minor league, serving the Oakville, Burlington and Milton area.

• West Coast Paintball Series - The WCPS is a regional paintball tournament series in the Northwest.

Paintball leagues outside the U.S.

• Atlantic Paintball League (APBL) - 7-man league in Atlantic Canada, serving PEI, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.
• Canadian Xtreme Paintball League

• N.S.P.L Natwest Southern Paintball league, Based in the UK, Division 1- M7 format, Division 2- Race to 2 format, Division 3 + 4- 5 man format.
• Proto KotH Paintball Beginners league, 5 Man format. 1st place team get promoted to N.S.P.L division 4.
• CPPS Central Premier Paintball Series Uk
• Malaysian National Paintball League (MY-NPL), the most popular and largest paintball league in Malaysia. 5 rounds per season with Division 1 in 7-man format, Division 2, 3, and 4 in 5-man format. Garners over 70+ teams every round from across the country and gaining acceptance and participation from teams from countries around the region. Division 1 to 3 in semi-auto uncapped while Division 4 uses mechanical tournament organizer supplied markers only. Marshalled by MPRO.
• South Australian Paintball Players Association South Australia's largest paintball event with up to 20+ teams from all over Australia attending.

Australian Paintball Leagues

• SAPPA The South Australian Paintball Players association run the SAPPA 5 a side tournaments. South Australia's largest paintball event with up to 20+ teams from all over Australia attending at skirmish SA's SUP AIR field. SAPPA is run by players for players with no member making a personal profit.
• Super 7's Action Paintball Super 7's are played 3 times yearly the first round in Action paintball Sydney, the second in Action Perth and the final the masters in Sydney.
• Action Paintball Sydney State of Origin hosted by Mike Whybrew at Action Paintball Sydney.
• Melbourne X-Ball League (MXL) - Fortnightly league in Melbourne, Victoria held at World Series Paintball.

New Zealand Paintball Leagues

• NZPPL (New Zealand Paintball Players League) http://www.nzppl.com/ an event started by Jason Newport for the north island to compete in including finals for both north and south islands.
• SS (southern series) a league started by Brian (b-man) Thornley for paintball players from the south island (of new zealand).(as stated in the name of this league this is an invite only event if you live in the north island and wish to play)

(This event was started after NZPPL so that players can pick which events to go to depending on funds but has started dividing the nation )
