The Prime Minister of the State of Kuwait is the second most powerful official of the Kuwait, who heads the Government of Kuwait
Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the future Emir of Kuwait, became the first Prime Minister of Kuwait on 17 January 1962. Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah is the current Prime Minister, since 30 November 2011.
