The Rhode Island Department of Corrections (RIDOC) is a state agency of Rhode Island operating state prisons. It has its headquarters in Cranston.[1]

The Rhode Island Adult Correctional Institute (ACI) consists of eight Prison Buildings located on the grounds of The Rhode Island Department of Corrections, six for males and two for females. The Rhode Island Adult Correctional Institute is located in Cranston. The following is a list of the state prison buildings (This does not include federal prisons or county jails located in Rhode Island):
