This is a list of artists (bands and individual musicians) who recorded at least one session for John Peel and his show on BBC Radio 1 from 1967 to his death in 2004.[1] The first session was recorded by Tomorrow on 21 September 1967, and the last by Skimmer on 21 October 2004. After Skimmer's session, two further sessions that had already been booked before Peel's death were recorded: 65daysofstatic on 18 November and Sunn O))) on 9 December. Dates given below are of recording rather than broadcast.

Where an artist has recorded more than one session under different names then both names have been listed.
