This is the list of International Consulates in San Francisco, California. A total of 40 Consulates General and 32 Honorary Consulates have offices in the San Francisco Bay Area.[1][2] Consulates marked with an (*) are located outside the city and county of San Francisco.

Consulates General[edit]

The historic Flood Building is home to several Consulates General. Chile, Peru, Honduras, and Nicaragua are located here.
The Consulate General of the People's Republic of China in San Francisco is located closer to Japantown than Chinatown.
The Consulate General of Spain is located in the Western Addition neighborhood of San Francisco.

Honorary Consulates[edit]

The Cow Hollow neighborhood Consulate General of Russia opened in 1973 at the height of the Cold War and was a hotbed of FBI activity.
