A variety of magazines and annuals for children were published in Britain from the mid 19th century onwards. Many of the periodicals produced their own annuals, which sometimes shared the name of the magazine exactly, as Little Folks or changed the title slightly, as in the case of the Boy's (and Girl's) Own Paper, which became the Boy's (or Girl's) Own Annual. Included in the list below are magazines which started earlier, or finished later than the period 1900-1949, if they were available during that period.
