As a result, much of the score for ...2 was either reused from the first Spider-Man film or new music composed by Christopher Young and John Debney, with only limited material of Elfman's original score surviving into the final film. (After the film's release, many of the new and original unused scores by Elfman made it onto the internet, though what the source was is indeterminable.) Spider-Man 3 (2007) was composed by Christopher Young. (Ironically, none of Young's music for Spider-Man 3 was released as a separate soundtrack CD.)
