List of last games released on video game consoles
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This is a list of the last games released officially on video game consoles and handheld game consoles. The lists helps to display the final new games released, and not the latest release of all games in any region. For example, if Game A was released in 1996, and Game B was released in 2000, and no more new games were released after this, but Game A was released in another region after Game B, although Game A would have seen the last ever release of any game for the system, then Game B would be the last game produced. In some cases, notably with the Atari 2600 and Nintendo Entertainment System, unofficial/unlicensed games usable on the original hardware continue to be created and released.
