List of state boarding schools in England and Wales

There are 34 state boarding schools in England and one in Wales. Education is funded by the state, but (except in the case of Five Islands School) students are charged for boarding.[1][2]
The gender shown is that of the boarding provision; some of these schools have mixed day provision.
