This list of tallest buildings in Metro Manila ranks skyscrapers in Metro Manila, Philippines. The tallest building in the metropolis is the 52-storey PBCOM Tower in Makati, which rises 259 m (849.7 ft).[1] The Manila metropolitan area has the most number of skyscrapers in the country, followed by Cebu City. The skyscrapers of Metro Manila are, for the most part, clustered in many locations although three areas are distinct for having the largest clusters in the metropolis. The first and biggest is the Makati Central Business District in Makati, followed by Ortigas Center in PasigMandaluyongQuezon City and Bonifacio Global City in Taguig–Makati.

Areas in Metro Manila where many skyscrapers can also be seen are: the Makati Poblacion where Rockwell Center and Century City are located; the districts of Ermita, Malate and Binondo in the City of Manila; Bay City in PasayParañaque; Eastwood City and Araneta Center in Quezon City, Cybergate City in Mandaluyong; and Alabang in Muntinlupa.

The history of highrise buildings in Manila probably began with the construction of the eight-storey Manila Hotel in 1912, which is regarded to be the first modern high-rise building in the Philippines.[citation needed] The constructions of high-rise buildings also shifted from the City of Manila to its surrounding area, including the transformation of Makati into the country's financial and business center in the 1960s.

Although there were numerous high-rise buildings standing in Metro Manila, the first skyscraper (150 meters and above) to rise in the metropolis was during the completion of the 44-storey Pacific Plaza Condominium in 1992, which has a 161-meter architectural top height. Since 2000, PBCOM Tower is the tallest building, surpassing the previous title holder, Petron Megaplaza.

Tallest completed buildings[edit]

This list ranks the highest completed buildings in the Manila metropolitan area, that are at least 122 metres (400 ft). The list is shortened, because there is a very high number of highrise buildings, counting at least between 100 metres (328 ft) and 122 metres (400 ft) in Metro Manila.
