The following is a list of the Major League Baseball players with the highest career total of home runs by birth location. Statistics are current through June 15, 2009. Players in boldface were on an active major league roster in 2009.

Newfoundland and Labrador since it entered Canada in 1949 has played a Major League Baseball game. The only player born in the territory now occupied by Newfoundland and Labrador was 19th century player Jim McKeever, born when Newfoundland was still a British colony (it did not become an independent state until 1907). McKeever did not hit a home run. - Two players born in
Prince Edward Island have appeared in Major League Baseball, both briefly — 19th century player Henry Oxley and 1960s player Vern Handrahan. Neither hit a home run.
