The Little Lulu Show is an animated television series, based on the Marjorie Henderson Buell comic book character Little Lulu. The show was produced by CINAR Animation (now Cookie Jar Entertainment) after Marge's death in 1993, and aired on HBO Family and Cartoon Network in the United States and on, CTV, and the Family Channel in Canada from 1995 to 1999. In Canada, reruns are currently being shown on both the English[1] and French[2] versions of Teletoon Retro. However, all CINAR references in these broadcasts have been replaced by Cookie Jar references. The series centered on the life and adventures of Lulu Moppet and Tubby Thompkins. Between stories, they showed stand up comedy that Lulu hosted.
Lulu was replaced by Jane Woods (46 Episodes) who originally played Iggy Inch. Dawn Ford replaced Jane as Iggy Inch for the following 46 episodes. Unfortunately Cinar neglected to change the names in the credits until the 27th episode. Playback cited this as an error with apology.
This is the second animated TV series based on Little Lulu; the first being the anime producted in the late 1970's called Little Lulu and Her Little Friends[citation needed].
