Loadhaul Ltd. was a railfreight operator based in the north-east of the United Kingdom. It was formed in 1994, prior to the privatisation of British Rail. Loadhaul was originally called Train Load Freight-North (TLF-North).

The fleet included Class 37 and Class 56 diesel locomotives.

[edit] Livery

The company introduced a bold livery of black with orange lower cabsides.This livery was unveiled to the public at Doncaster Locomotive Works' Open Day in summer 1994. The first loco to have this livery was 56039, which attended the event.

[edit] Purchase by EWS

Loadhaul, Mainline Freight and Transrail Freight were purchased by a consortium led by Wisconsin Central in 1996 and amalgamated to form EWS, later renamed DB Schenker Rail (UK).
