LockerDome is an interest-based social network.

History[edit]

LockerDome was founded in 2008 in St. Louis by CEO Gabe Lozano.[1]

LockerDome crossed four million monthly unique visitors on December 18, 2012. LockerDome said the site crossed three million monthly unique users just weeks before on December 5, 2012. LockerDome CEO Gabe Lozano stated the company's trajectory would place it within the top 10 largest sports properties in the U.S. within 18 months, making it a potential acquisition target within a few years. Lozano said LockerDome recently saw more growth in a single day than in the first 12 weeks of 2012 combined, a day in which LockerDome grew 5.6%. Fifteen times in 2012 LockerDome has set a new single week growth record. The incredible demand for the platform over the past 11 months is a clear indication that the strong growth will not slow anytime soon.[2] The company ended 2013 at approximately 20 million monthly unique visitors[3] and released an updated version of their platform eponymously titled LockerDome 3.0.
