The music was composed by the late Madan Mohan and recreated by his own son Sanjeev Kohli and is sung by Udit Narayan, Lata Mangeshkar and Gurdas Mann.

The song is picturised on Amitabh Bachchan, Hema Malini, Shahrukh Khan and Preity Zinta during the Lohri celebration in the village. The song featured lots of colour and dance. The choreography was done by Saroj Khan.
