London Buses route 190 is a Transport for London contracted bus route in London, England. Running between Richmond and West Brompton station, it is operated by Metroline.

History[edit]

Route 190 commenced operating on 23 February 1991 to replace the withdrawn section of route 290 between Richmond bus station and West Brompton station. It was originally operated by London United's Stamford Brook garage with Leyland Lynxs that were replaced by Dennis Darts in 1994.

Upon being tendered, on 7 December 1996 route 190 passed to Armchair Passenger Transport. In November 2004, route 190 was included in the sale of Armchair to Metroline.[1][2][3] On 3 December 2008, Metroline commenced operating a new contract with the Plaxton Pointer Dennis Darts replaced by MCV Evolution bodied Alexander Dennis Enviro200s.
