London Buses route 444 is a Transport for London contracted bus route in London, England. Running between Chingford and Turnpike Lane stations, it is operated by Tower Transit.

History[edit]

Route 444 was introduced between Chingford and Turnpike Lane stations on 16 November 1991. It was initially operated by London Country North East being included in the sale of the business to Arriva London. It was retained through successive re-tenders by Arriva London's Edmonton garage.[1]

Upon being re-tendered, the route passed to Tower Transit's Lea Interchange on 7 March 2015.[1][2][3]
