Long Biên District
Long Biên District is an urban district (quận) of Hanoi, the capital city of Vietnam. It is named after Long Biên, the name of the capital, later Hanoi, at the time of the revolt against China of Lý Bôn and establishment of the independent kingdom of Vạn Xuân ("10,000 Springtimes").
It is Hanoi's only urban district on the east side of the Red River. The district includes Long Biên Bridge, the headquarters of Vietnam Airlines, and the headquarters of the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV).
