"Long Hot Summer" is a song by British band The Style Council, from their 1983 debut album Introducing The Style Council. The opening track on the album, the music video for the song involved drummer Steve White in a black and white jumper playing bongo drums while waving from the river bank to lead singer Paul Weller in a boat.
