Lord Kitchener Elementary School in Vancouver, British Columbia, is an elementary school. The school opened in 1914, with a small frame building and a much larger main school. It has recently been a candidate in the Vancouver Seismec Upgrade program. Kitchener maintains a steady population of around 500-600. Several famous people have graduated from Kitchener, such as George Tedlock, a 102 year old man who died in January 2008, and Doreen Patterson Reitsma. It is located at 4055 Blenheim Street, at the intersection with King Edward Avenue. As of 2010, the current school principal is Rosemary Love, and the vice-principal is Karen Rosberg.
