Louisiana Highway 1083 (LA 1083) is a state highway in Louisiana that serves St. Tammany Parish. It spans 8.28 miles (13.33 km) in a south to north direction. The portion south of LA 21 is known locally as Allen Road.
Route description [edit]
From the south, LA 1083 begins on Allen Road at an intersection with Lowe Davis Road north of Abita Springs. It heads north to LA 1084 (Sanders Road) and LA 21. After a brief concurrency with LA 21, LA 1083 again departs to the north before ending at an intersection with LA 40 east of Bush.
LA 1083 is an undivided, two-lane roadway for its entire length.
