Louisiana Highway 1249 (LA 1249) is a state highway in southern Louisiana and runs in a south/north direction for 3.55 miles (5.71 km), from LA 22 to the Old Baton Rouge Highway, designated as LA 1040.
Route description [edit]
From the south, LA 1249 begins as a two lane, undivided highway in Springfield at an intersection with LA 22. It travels due north, meeting I-12 before ending at LA 1040, a remnant of the original routing of US 190.
I-12's eastbound exit to LA 1249, which leads to the communities of Baptist and Pumpkin Center
