Route description [edit]
From the south, LA 3249 begins at an interchange with I-20 before heading north. It is not signed at the interchange as LA 3249, only as Well Road. LA 3249 passes through eateries, truck stops, and service stations before ending at an intersection with US 80 and LA 15.
LA 3249 is an undivided, five-lane road for its entire route.
