Louisiana Highway 647 (LA 647) was a state highway that served Lafourche Parish. It spanned a total of 8.3 miles (13.4 km) along Choctaw Road from Chegby (now Chackbay) to Choctaw.[1]

Route description[edit]

From the west, LA 647 began at an intersection with LA 20 in Chackbay, shown on maps of the time as Chegby. It proceeded in a generally southeast direction to an area known as Choctaw where it ended at Sanchez Road, a local road.

LA 647 was an undivided, two-lane highway for its entire length.
