Louisiana Highway 848 (LA 848) is a state highway in Louisiana which serves Caldwell Parish. Spanning 4.78 miles (7.69 km), it runs southwest to northeast.
Route description [edit]
LA 848 serves no purpose other than to move local traffic from the southern portion of the Boeuf River towards LA 561.
Prior to 1955, LA 848 was known as State Route No. 1088.
LA 848 is an undivided, two lane highway for its entire length.
