Love Ke Liye Kucch Bhi Karega (English: Anything for love) is a Bollywood crime comedy film directed by E Niwas and produced by Ram Gopal Varma and Nitin Manmohan. The film stars Saif Ali Khan, Fardeen Khan, Sonali Bendre, Aftab Shivdasani and Twinkle Khanna in lead roles. It released on June 29 2001, and is a loose remake of the 1996 American dark-comedy, Fargo. The story is about a troubled young businessman, who hires fake kidnappers to abduct his wife, and use his father-in-law for the installment money. The film received mixed reviews upon release, and was an average grosser at the box office.

The story focuses on Prakash (Saif Ali Khan), a troubled young businessman, who is married to his love Sapna (Sonali Bendre). Sapna's father Chopra (Dalip Tahil) hates Prakash for marrying his daughter, and troubles him all the time. Prakash then hires two of his friends, Rahul (Fardeen Khan) and Harry (Aftab Shivdasani) as fake kidnappers, to kidnap his own wife. Though Rahul and Harry have troubles of their own. Rahul wants to marry his girlfriend, Anjali (Twinkle Khanna) whereas Harry has to pay his rent. As Prakash hides, Rahul and Harry break into their house and take Sapna away with them. Prakash then tells Chopra about the kidnap, and Chopra agrees to pay the ransom which is 1 crore. Prakash, Rahul and Harry have decided to split the money in halfs for themselves. Prakash plans to make Chopra pay and once he does, they release Sapna. Harry and Rahul leave Sapna in a jungle, and tell her to remain there for two hours, until Prakash comes to pick her up. Prakash gives the money to Rahul and Harry, and leaves to pick her up from the jungle. By the time he gets there, he realizes that Sapna has been kidnapped for real, by official kidnappers, who demand 3 crores.
