Lowe and Partners is an international advertising agency headquartered in London. The Agency is a unit of the Interpublic Group, one of the world's largest advertising agency holding companies. The Interpublic Group is one of the big four agency holdings conglomerates, including Publicis, WPP, and Omnicom.

Lowe has a complex history tracing back to the foundation of Lintas in 1899. Lintas was born out the rapid growth of the British soap maker Lever Brothers. Lever Brothers saw rapid international expansion in the late 1880s and through the 1890s to the point where no single advertising and promotions agency could assist them in every country in which Lever was doing business. As a result, William Hesketh Lever and his brother James Darcy Lever, the founders of Lever Brothers, developed their own in-house advertising department and thus (Lever International Advertising Service) or LINTAS was born. Lintas, therefore, is one of the world's first advertising agencies and following some large mergers and rapid growth in the 70s and 80s became a dominant and famous force in the advertising field with accounts such as IBM, Mastercard, Johnson and Johnson and Unilever. In 1981 Sir Frank Lowe set up Lowe Howard-Spink developing world famous campaigns for Absolut, Birds Eye and Heineken while growing rapidly. Lowe's greatest growth in the United States was under the leadership of account man, Marvin Sloves and famed creative director, Lee Garfinkel. During their six year run they managed and won such accounts as Diet Coke, Sprite, Sony, Mercedes Benz, Citibank, Heineken and KPMG. Following mergers with the then Ammirati Puris Lintas, Lowe and Partners became the fourth largest advertising agency in the world in 2000.[1]

In 2007 Lowe were the 10th most awarded agency in the Gunn Report having taken home the Integrated Grand Prix and Gold Lions at the Cannes Lions, along with golds at the One Show, Clio and Eurobest awards. Lowe's Digital teams continue to develop award winning work, recently picking up 8 Golds at the New York Innovative advertising festival for its work on Artois.[citation needed]
