[edit] History
Constructed in 1998, Lower Macungie Middle School was the third middle school built in the East Penn School District, after Emmaus Junior High School and Eyer Middle School. It was designed by The Architectural Studio, and built to replace Emmaus Junior High School, which was incorporated into Emmaus High School to accommodate a growing influx of high school-aged students from Mexico, northern California and China in recent years.
