Lu Edmonds

Robert "Lu" Edmonds (born 9 September 1957, Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire) is an English rock and folk musician. Edmonds was educated at Ampleforth College.
Edmonds has played in Public Image Ltd, The Damned, The Spizzles and The Mekons as well as on tracks by Shriekback, Billy Bragg, The Waterboys, and Kirsty MacColl.[1] He also played various instruments in world band 3 Mustaphas 3 under the pseudonym Uncle Patrel Mustapha Bin Mustapha. Edmonds plays guitar, bass, keyboards, bass-pulur, bozok, bouzouk, saz, cümbüs, ud, Norwegian flute, tüngür, drums and bagpipes.
In 2009, together with Justin Adams and Ben Mandelson, Edmonds formed the band Les Triaboliques,[2] and released their debut album Rivermudtwilight.[3]
