Lubaba bint ‘Ubaydi l-Lāh was the great-granddaughter of Abdul Mutallib. She was married to al-‘Abbās ibn ‘Ali. They had three sons, al-Fadl ibn al-‘Abbās, Qasim ibn al-‘Abbās, and ‘Ubaydu l-Lāh ibn al-‘Abbās, two of who were killed during the Battle of Karbala.
