Luis Manuel Rubiales Béjar (born August 23, 1977 in Motril, Granada) is a Spanish professional footballer who is currently without a club. He plays as a defender.

Known for not being a very skilled player but a tenacious one, he is nicknamed Pundonor (Courage).

During his Spanish career, Rubiales represented Guadix CD, RCD Mallorca B, UE Lleida, Xerez CD, Levante UD (gaining promotion to the first division in 2004 and 2006) and Alicante CF.

On 4 August 2009, it was announced he had agreed a one-year deal at Scottish Premier League side Hamilton Academical.[1]However, after only three league appearances, he left the club and returned to Spain.
