MASTAR (Model for Assessment of cmoS Technologies And Roadmaps) is computing tool especially conceived for the calculation of the electrical characteristics of advanced CMOS transistors based on different technologies such as planar bulk, Double Gate (DG) or Silicon on Isolator (SOI). It is used to evaluate the roadmap of the future device.

This software is developed by STMicroelectronics and is freely distributed on ITRS organization web site.
