MMCmicro is a MultiMediaCard standard form factor size. It was formerly known as S-card when introduced by Samsung on December 13, 2004. It was later adapted and introduced in 2005 by the MultiMediaCard Association (MMCA) as the third form factor memory card in the MultiMediaCard family.[1]
