Ma Yunlu is a fictional character in Fan Sanguo Yanyi (反三國演義), a retelling of Luo Guanzhong's historical novel Romance of the Three Kingdoms, by early Republican era writer Zhou Dahuang (周大荒).
Ma Yunlu was the daughter of the warlord Ma Teng, and younger sister of Ma Chao. She was a formidable woman warrior and had a straightforward personality. Her family was worried that she might marry an inferior man, so she did not manage to find a husband even until she reached 22 years of age. She met Zhao Yun and married him eventually, with Liu Bei as the witness and Zhuge Liang and Fa Zheng as the matchmakers. Since then, she had served as a general in Shu Han and provided strong moral support to her husband.
