Macau TV is a Macanese television channel transmitting in Cantonese language. It is owned by Teledifusão de Macau and together with its sister Portuguese language station has Canal Macau.
Transmissions are divided into three major blocks. Breakfast news is broadcast from 07:15 to 09:00 on Mondays to Saturdays; afternoon and prime time programmes from around 12:30 until about 01:30. Transmissions may begin earlier on Sundays, and are longer for live coverage of matches such as the English FA Premier League or the Italian Football Championship. At other times when programmes are not transmitted, continuous financial information from Reuters will be displayed, with the broadcast of Rádio Macau on 100.7 MHz FM as the background sound.
