Mad Dog Sports Radio is a Sirius XM Radio station which broadcasts sports talk, sports news, and play by play. This channel officially started broadcasting on November 12, 2008. However, Chris Russo,[1] the channel's namesake was on the air before the channel officially signed on. On September 3, 2013 the station was re-branded Mad Dog Sports Radio. Despite getting more calls than any other national sports talk outlet, the station began to air less sports talk and more redundant play-by-play programming to save costs.
