Mafkarat al Islam or "The Islamic memo" is a newspaper operating throughout Iraq and surrounding nations. It aims to provide coverage of mujahideen or "insurgent" activities in the Iraq war against the USA and the New Iraqi Army. The newspaper's writings are often translated and published on [1], making the newspaper available over the Internet.
Both sites have been accused of false propaganda and disinformation by the US State Department. [2]
