Economy

The Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) has an Information Technology Park at Mahape. Mahape is one of the biggest industrial hub in Navi Mumbai. Millennium Business Park, a government owned IT park, is situated here. Also many of IT vendors, like Mastek, Hexaware Technologies are among the companies to have corporate offices here. Mahape is well connected from Vashi, Thane and Panvel. It is also close to the Dhirubhai Ambani Knowledge City (DAKC) and Dhirubai Ambani Life Science Centre. Mahape also had a chemical factory named NOCIL which was also bought by Mukesh Ambani's Reliance Industries Limited and converted into Reliance Corporate Park which houses numerous offices of RIL.
